Arriving by road:

The city is linked to the high-capacity network via the dual carriageway A-6 Madrid to Arteixo (A Coruña), which is the main entrance to Galicia. Furthermore, the city is connected with Ourense via the N-120 Logroño-Porriño (A-52) and with Villablino via the CL-631.

From A-6, road to A Coruña:

- Exit 382 from Madrid.

- Exit 388 from A Coruña.

 

By rail:

Ponferrada has a railway station – managed by Adif – which operates routes to Vigo, A Coruña, Madrid and Barcelona.

 

By air:
